My photographs of The American West (1870's-90's)
include images of the U.S. Cavalry at Fort Huachuca, Arizona
(the last base of the Pony or Buffalo Soldiers),
the saloons and town of Tombstone, Arizona, including the
"Boot Hill" Cemetery.
I've also photographed the location
outside Kenab, Utah where many cowboy movies
and television shows where filmed.
Remember "Gunsmoke"?
That location is in my collection.
In addition, I've stopped off and photographed many native
American sites and historic signs, carvings, paintings,
or ruins in Arizona and Utah.
Combine these images with local scenics, animals, birds,
plants and it adds up to a very interesting story.
The following magazine used one of my photographs
on the cover of their magazine:
True West.
